The hotel is perfectly located in the 5e Arrondissement. Meaning you are a walk away from everything. The café, the tobacco store, the michelin star restaurant, the panthéon, Notre Dame basilique, le marais, jardin luxembourg, 30min walk from gare de montparnasse, restaurants on every street corner. It's the ideal location. The rooms are perfectly sized for two people. The bathrooms are clean, the soundproofed rooms are perfect if you're a sensitive sleeper. The courtyard view is a typical parisian style. The entire experience is fantastic. Please do not smoke in the rooms. It's not that type of place. You can smoke anywhere in Paris just not in your hotel room you will set off the alarms, we had the unpleasant experience of being woken up by the fire alarm from someone smoking in their room. There is a breakfast that is offered every morning here for 30€, we didn't not take advantage of it seeing as we are light eaters in the morning and a croissant café noisette is more than enough for us. The teas in the room are Kusmi teas which are of very high quality, the instant coffee in the room is probably the tastiest I've had in all my travels. The sheets are soft and clean and the blankets are weighted just enough. The pillows are very fluffy so if you are looking for a flat pancake pillow, bring your own. There is a towel warmer/heater in the bathroom. I appreciated Joao the concierge who took the time to make our lives easier with a map and a description of what is in the area. He is a man who enjoys his job and it shows.

I loved everything about it, from the moment you enter the property you come into a “library”-stylized lobby with fresh lemon water and most courteous and helpful staff members. Mr. Laurent and Ahmed were extremely courteous and helped me with directions and tips about Paris and its attractions. The location is perfect for walking to main attractions: 5 minutes to Sorbonne University, with Marie Curie legacy everywhere around, 10 minutes to Pantheon, 25 minutes to NotreDamDeParis, 30-40 minutes to the Eiffel Tower, 20 minutes to the Garden of Luxembourg. I didn’t use any public transportation and just walked everywhere, I also felt safe around the hotel and nearby streets. The location is in Latin Quarter, District 5, this is one of the oldest and most beautiful parts of Paris, and it’s not too crowded and quiet. The hotel room was tiny, as I’d expect it to be in Paris, but so well arranged with everything one may need during the stay: coffee/tea, safe, shampoo and conditioner, travel set with needles and threads. I loved the room decor as if I had a tiny apartment in downtown Paris, my bed was extremely comfortable and I slept through the night with open windows. The window opens into a cosy mini garden, which is quiet and charming. I also loved my bathroom with hot water running right there without waiting for it to get warm, with huge shower head, I felt right in the hot water abs the shampoo & conditioner I used made me hair silky and easy to brush through.

Our plane was one of thousands grounded this week. Thus, we needed to find a place for one night more in Paris. Luckily, this lovely jewel box of a hotel appeared in my search. Hotel Serotel Lutèce is blessed with an attentive and caring staff. Although he was unable to check us in at eleven in the morning, he kindly upgraded us to a beautiful room beside the hotel’s picturesque garden. Even the kindly breakfast attendant saw two exhausted hungry women and gifted us with that morning’s delicious pastry. The hotel is spotless, charming, and a little bit quirky. It is designed like a learned gentleman’s home with his specimens and collections artfully displayed. Everything is beautifully crafted. Their breakfast (which we arrived too late and left too early for) smelled heavenly. The neighborhood is charming and walkable. We would love to stay here for longer.

Every detail on this property was stunning. What a beautiful, quaint, very French, hotel. We loved the “living room“, terrace, and especially the breakfast area which was down a spiral staircase to what looked like an old wine cellar. Breakfast was delicious with many pastries, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, ham, fresh juices (orange, apple, and grapefruit), assorted cheeses, tomatoes, coffee and tea… The hotel provided quality shampoo, conditioner, lotion , and a hair dryer. The shower had great hot water and excellent water pressure. The room was small but perfect for my husband and me. We had room to open our luggage and walk around. The property is in a quiet area but within a 5-10 minute walk of several restaurants on Rue Mouffetard. We had the best stay at Seretol Lutèce! Merci beaucoup!

Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet location. We asked for a double bed in a room overlooking the street. They gave us a room on the 5th Floor so could open window without street noise. We were a bit concerned there would be street noise but we weren't impacted at all by it, and loved seeing Paris wake up. Breakfast lovely, delicious pastries cheeses and meats, and you could cook your own boiled eggs so perfect for us. Location excellent for sight seeing Paris and easy to use the Metro. Small room, but thats Paris, and we had everything we needed in it.
